Program Overview:
Designed for aspiring and practicing English language teachers, the TESOL Certificate blends online instruction with a robust onsite teaching practicum, offering a total of 120 instructional hours (100 hours theory + 20 hours practicum). Participants will explore proven methodologies, culturally relevant pedagogy, and β– -powered teaching tools to thrive in diverse ESL environments.

Curriculum Highlights:
Participants will engage with 12 comprehensive modules based on the World TESOL Academy standard, including:

  • Principles of TESOL, Lesson Planning & Management
  • Teaching Language Skills, Grammar, and ESP
  • Intercultural Competence & the Use of Technology in ELT (including β–  tools)
  • Classroom Observation & Supervised Practicum (20+ hours)

Flexible Weekly Delivery:
Over 8 to 12 weeks, learners will progress through structured weekly modules with online tutorials, lesson submissions, and in-person teaching demonstrations, culminating in live practicum hours across training sites in YaoundΓ©, Douala, Buea, and Bamenda.

Rigorous Assessment & Certification:
To earn the internationally accredited TESOL Certificate, learners must complete all modules, submit weekly tasks, and demonstrate practical teaching excellence. Assessment components include:

  • Quizzes, Lesson Plans, and Video Assignments
  • Final Written Evaluation and Teaching Practicum Review
