LITERATURE AWARENESS BY LEVEL
6ème (Form 1)
Focus: Introducing basic concepts in poetry, prose, and drama
Core Elements:
1️⃣ Plot : Understanding the sequence of events in a story.
2️⃣ Character : Identifying main and supporting characters and their roles.
3️⃣ Theme : Exploring central ideas or messages in the text.
4️⃣ Style : Recognizing simple literary techniques (e.g., rhyme in poetry, dialogue in drama).
5️⃣ Point of View: Differentiating between first-person, third-person, or narrator perspectives.
Teaching Methodology:
- Use of Visuals: Incorporate illustrations, animations, or charts to bring the stories to life.
- Discussions : Engage students in interactive conversations about the text.
- Basic Storytelling: Encourage students to retell stories to build comprehension and confidence. Practice/Assessment Questions:
